Active Directory Federation Services integrates with Secured Signing

Microsoft adfs

Microsoft Active Directory Federation Services (AD FS) is a component of the Windows Server operating system that provides secure authentication and Single Sign-On (SSO) capabilities for web-based applications.

AD FS enables organizations to extend their Active Directory infrastructure to external applications and services, allowing users to access these resources using their existing Active Directory credentials.

Here are some key features and functionalities of Active Directory Federation Services with Secured Signing

  • Single Sign-On (SSO) Experience: With AD FS and Secured Signing integrated, users can access Secured Signing without having to provide their credentials again, thanks to SSO. The security token issued by AD FS is used to authenticate the user within Secured Signing, granting them access to the document signing functionality.

  • Seamless Integration with Active Directory: AD FS seamlessly integrates with an organization’s existing Active Directory infrastructure, leveraging user accounts, group memberships, and other attributes stored in Active Directory for authentication and authorization purposes.

  • User Authentication: When users attempt to access Secured Signing, they will be redirected to the AD FS login page to provide their Active Directory credentials for authentication.
